SHIPPING POLICY

Thank you for shopping with Papertail Fox (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Below you’ll find details about how we process and ship your order.


1. Order Processing Time

  • Orders are typically processed within 2–4 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

  • During new releases, sales, or holidays, processing times may be slightly longer.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email when your order is placed, and another email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Processing time is separate from the shipping carrier’s delivery time.


2. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • United States

  • Canada

We hope to expand to additional countries in the future.


3. Shipping Rates & Delivery Estimates

All orders ship from Ohio, USA.

United States

  • Standard Shipping (USPS, UPS, or similar):

    • Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and carrier.

    • Typical delivery estimate: 3–7 business days after your order has shipped.

  • Free Shipping

    • We offer free standard shipping on US orders over $59 (after discounts, before tax).

    • Free shipping thresholds may change during promotions or special events.

  • Alaska, Hawaii & US territories: shipping is calculated at checkout and is typically higher than contiguous US rates.

Canada

  • Standard International Shipping to Canada (USPS/Canada Post, UPS, or similar):

    • Rates are calculated at checkout based on weight, destination, and carrier.

    • Typical delivery estimate: 7–21 business days after your order has shipped, depending on carrier and customs processing.

Delivery time estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Weather, customs delays, carrier issues, and peak seasons can extend delivery times.


4. Customs, Duties & Taxes (Canada)

For orders shipped to Canada:

  • Customs fees, duties, VAT/GST, and import taxes are not included in your order total or shipping cost.

  • These charges are set by your country’s customs authorities and are the responsibility of the recipient.

  • We cannot control or predict these fees, and we are not responsible for any delays caused by customs or for packages held by customs.

If you refuse a package due to customs or import fees, any refund issued (if the package is returned to us) will be minus original shipping costs and any additional return fees charged by the carrier.


5. Order Tracking

  • Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number.

  • Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update after the label is created.

  • If your tracking shows “delivered” but you don’t see your package, please:

    • Check with household members, neighbors, or building management

    • Look around porches, side doors, mailrooms, parcel lockers, or community mailboxes

    • Wait one additional business day, as some carriers mark “delivered” slightly early

If you still can’t locate the package, contact the carrier first, then reach out to us at supportfox@papertailfox.com.


6. Incorrect Addresses & Returned Packages

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout.

  • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address, or because it was unclaimed:

    • We can reship your order to a corrected address, with the reshipment postage paid by you, or

    • We can refund the order minus original shipping costs once the package is received back in good condition, plus a 10% restocking fee.

If you notice an address error after placing your order, contact us at support@papertailfox.com as quickly as possible. We’ll do our best to update it before the order ships, but we can’t guarantee changes once the order is in process or has shipped.


7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages

Once an order is handed to the carrier, it is in their custody.

Lost or stolen packages

  • If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive your package, please open a claim directly with the carrier.

  • We are not responsible for packages that are scanned as delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Damaged items

  • If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@papertailfox.com and include:

    • Your order number

    • Clear photos of the packaging and the damaged items

  • We’ll review your claim and work with you on a replacement, store credit, or another resolution as appropriate.


8. Pre-Orders & Backordered Items (if applicable)

If you offer pre-orders or restocks, use this:

  • Orders containing pre-order items will ship when all items are available.

  • If you place an order with both in-stock and pre-order items, the entire order will ship together unless otherwise noted on the product page.

  • Estimated ship dates for pre-order items will be listed on the product page but are not guaranteed.

If you do not offer pre-orders, you can remove this section.


9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, carriers, or legal requirements. The updated version will always be posted on this page with the “Last updated” date at the top.
