Notes from The Fox
Stacey has a real gift for making spooky things feel friendly. Her bats are plump, tidy, and a little bit funny, which is exactly why this tape works beyond October. It leans Halloween without shouting about it. Stacey draws and prints her own patterns from her studio near the Derbyshire border. One of my go-to tapes for autumn mail and gothic book journals.

Product Details and Specs
The pattern is a repeat of small black bats on a cream ground, drawn in a cute and slightly rounded style. The tape is printed on traditional Japanese-style washi paper with a low-tack, removable adhesive. It tears cleanly by hand, sticks well to paper and cardstock, and lifts without leaving residue. The paper is plastic-free and fully recyclable.
What's Included: 1 roll, 15mm wide by 10 meters long. Designed by Stacey McEvoy Caunt (SMC-BATS).
How to Use
Use it on Halloween cards, fall planner spreads, and gothic book journal pages. It also works year-round for anyone who loves bats or stranger creatures. It pairs with other witchy tapes in our washi tape collection. For more folklore designs, see the full Stacey McEvoy Caunt range.
FAQ
Is this a Halloween-only design?
No. The bats are cute rather than scary, and the pattern works year-round. It is a favorite for anyone who loves bats as an animal rather than just as a Halloween motif.
Will it match darker stationery?
Yes. The bats are black on cream, which reads clean against both light and dark spreads.
Who designs this tape?
Stacey McEvoy Caunt, a UK artist and illustrator based near the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border. She hand-draws every pattern in her studio.
