Blue Medieval Bunny Washi Tape | Stacey McEvoy Caunt
Hurry up, only 3 items left in stock.
Notes from The Fox
Medieval manuscripts are full of rabbits in the margins, doing odd or silly things. Stacey grew up loving this strange art, and her bunny patterns are a nod to it. The blue colorway uses a chalky blue with cream bunnies and tiny medieval shapes. She draws every repeat by hand from her studio near the Derbyshire border. A favorite of mine for book journals and fantasy reading logs.

Product Details and Specs
The design has rabbits in white and cream on a chalky blue ground, mixed with small medieval shapes like fleurs and dots. The tape is printed on traditional Japanese-style washi paper with a low-tack, removable adhesive. It tears cleanly by hand, sticks well to paper and cardstock, and lifts without leaving residue. The paper is plastic-free and fully recyclable.
What's Included: 1 roll, 15mm wide by 10 meters long. Designed by Stacey McEvoy Caunt (SMC-BLBUN).
How to Use
Use this on book journal spreads, especially for medieval or fantasy reads. It is lovely on letter paper and pen pal mail with a historical theme. It pairs with vintage and ephemera in our washi tape collection. To see more folklore-inspired work, browse the full Stacey McEvoy Caunt range.
FAQ
Why bunnies in medieval art?
Rabbits were a common motif in the margins of old manuscripts. Monks drew them doing all sorts of odd things, from battles to daily scenes. Stacey's pattern is a nod to that tradition.
Is there a matching red version?
Yes. The Red Medieval Bunny tape is the same design in a warm red palette. Many collectors like to pair the two.
Who designs this tape?
Stacey McEvoy Caunt, a UK artist and illustrator based near the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire border. She hand-draws every pattern in her studio.
