A row of sharpened pencil tips in watercolor, die-cut so the points make a zigzag edge along the top of the roll. Green, blue, purple, magenta, orange, yellow, then round again, each barrel painted with a wet-brush wash that leaves the colour uneven and bright. Torn to length it looks like a line of pencils standing in a jar.
