Furukawashiko Retro Matchbox Memo – Café Critters Collection
Hurry up, only 1 item left in stock.
These tiny memo pads look exactly like vintage Japanese matchboxes, but instead of matches you get a stack of charming little notes lined up like matchsticks.
Each design features a different retro café illustration by Furukawashiko:
- Café Penguin – a dapper penguin advertising ice cream and ice pops.
- Café Neko Kaburi – a black cat café logo with just the right amount of attitude.
- Café Cat’s Tail – a white cat enjoying a parfait under the café lights.
- Usagi Onsen – two rabbits sharing tea at a hot spring tearoom.
Slide open the “matchbox” to reveal mini memo sheets with printed matchstick lines and a tiny character in the corner—perfect for quick notes, to-dos, bookmarks, or tucking into happy mail.
When the paper is gone, the box becomes a ridiculously cute home for paperclips, stamps, washi samples, or other small treasures.
Why We Love It
- Wonderful art – The retro café designs look like they were pulled from a Showa-era matchbox collection. They’re tiny pieces of illustration you can actually use.
- Clever note stash – The matchstick lines make writing short lists or messages weirdly satisfying, and the box is small enough to toss in a pencil case or wallet.
- Reusable box – When you’ve used the 35 sheets, you still have an adorable little box perfect for storing clips, charms, or emergency washi samples.
