Grand pianos with the lid raised sit among violins, cellos, a double bass, harps, timpani and a marimba, alongside trumpets, trombones, tubas, French horns, saxophones, clarinets and flutes. The brass is stamped in gold, the woodwind in silver, and treble clefs and stray notes drift between them on a cream ground.
