Palette Sechees Yellow Lace Tape | Pavilio

Palette Sechees Yellow lace tape carries a die-cut chevron pattern in soft, muted gold, like a tiny wheat braid pressed into the washi paper. The Sechees subseries leans muted and geometric, and the chevron motif here reads as tradecraft rather than decoration. Layer it over a colored background, and the cut-out chevrons become little windows that show the color underneath. It is the kind of tape that elevates a plain edge into something that looks intentional.

Notes from The Fox

We reach for Sechees Yellow when a page needs warmth and texture without going citrus-bright. The muted gold and the chevron cut-out together feel like an old-fashioned ribbon, and it pairs especially well with kraft paper, neutrals, and any warm color in the line. We love it for autumn journaling and gift wrap that wants to feel handmade.

FAQ

Q: What makes lace tape different from regular washi tape?
A: Pavilio's lace tape is precision die-cut into decorative patterns, so the washi paper has actual cut-out shapes running through it. Standard washi tape is a solid strip with no cut-outs, which makes lace tape feel more like a paper trim than a typical roll of tape.

Q: How fragile is the lace pattern?
A: It is more delicate than standard washi tape, so handle the roll gently and avoid stretching the tape when you apply it. The die-cut structure rewards careful use with beautiful, intricate detail that holds up well once placed.

Q: How wide is this tape?
A: 15mm, which is about 0.6 inches. It is the standard washi tape width, and the lace cut-outs make a big visual impact at this size.
