Penguins Under the Sea Washi Tape | CutieSquad

Notes from The Fox

Penguins Under the Sea gives the shop its best underwater tape. The penguins are shown in their natural element, zipping through blue water with bubbles and small fish in their wake. Cutie Squad's palette here goes deeper blue than the other ocean tapes, which gives the spread a real sense of depth. It's a favorite for winter and ocean-themed pages alike.

Product Details and Specs

The penguins are drawn mid-swim in deeper blues, with small fish and bubbles trailing behind them. The palette uses navy, teal, and cream for a submerged feeling.

Imported from the Netherlands | Studio: Cutie Squad

What's Included: One roll of washi tape, 15mm wide by 10 meters long, printed on traditional washi paper with a low-tack repositionable adhesive. Artist: Cutie Squad (Netherlands).

How to Use

Use this across winter spreads, aquarium visit pages, or ocean trip journals. It pairs beautifully with our Penguins Deep Sea Chill Club sheet and Floating Otters washi tape for a layered underwater look. A short piece also makes a cool accent on a sea-themed card.

FAQ

How does this compare to your other penguin products?
Penguins Under the Sea shows penguins actively swimming underwater, while other Cutie Squad penguin products (like the Penguins & Whales sheet) stay mostly on the surface. All of them share the same character style, so they coordinate cleanly.

How wide and long is this tape?
The roll is 15mm wide by 10 meters long, which is a standard everyday washi size. It tears cleanly by hand and lifts off paper without leaving residue.

Where does Cutie Squad come from?
Cutie Squad is based in the Netherlands, where Gladys and Cephas create original illustrated stationery. Every design in this shop is imported directly from their studio.

About the Maker
