Iromoyo Stamp Pad Koubai-iro (Red Plum) | Shachihata

Notes from The Fox

Koubai-iro is named after the red plum blossom, one of the first flowers to bloom in Japan each year. The color is a warm, rosy pink with a hint of depth that keeps it from feeling too sweet. It is one of the most popular shades in the Iromoyo line, and it is easy to see why. The tone works beautifully for floral stamps, greeting cards, valentines, and any project that calls for a touch of warmth and romance. Like all the Shachihata Iromoyo pads, the ink goes on clean and dries fast, giving you sharp impressions every time.

How to Use

Press your stamp gently onto the pad and then onto paper. This rosy pink tone pairs nicely with green, gray, and brown ink pads for seasonal and floral layouts. It also works well on its own for greeting cards, tags, and journal accents. The ink dries in a few seconds and does not bleed through most papers, making it easy to layer and build detailed stamped compositions. Best results on paper that soaks up ink well, like card stock or journal pages. Not ideal for glossy or coated surfaces.
