Standard Grains Lace Tape | Pavilio

Standard Grains lace tape carries a small, rhythmic die-cut pattern that runs steadily along the length of the roll. The Grains design feels grounded and natural, the kind of pattern you can layer with anything without it stealing the show. When laid over a colored background, the cut-out shapes pull the color through in a quiet repeat. Use it for borders, planner dividers, or any layout that wants a textural detail with the added depth of die-cut work.

Notes from The Fox

Standard Grains is one of those tapes that ends up in nearly every layout we make. The die-cut pattern is subtle, neutral, and easy to pair with bolder designs and solid colors alike. We use it most often as a base layer underneath other tapes, and as a quiet finishing edge on letters and gift tags.

FAQ

Q: What makes lace tape different from regular washi tape?
A: Pavilio's lace tape is precision die-cut into decorative patterns, so the washi paper has actual cut-out shapes running through it. Standard washi tape is a solid strip with no cut-outs, which makes lace tape feel more like a paper trim than a typical roll of tape.

Q: How fragile is the lace pattern?
A: It is more delicate than standard washi tape, so handle the roll gently and avoid stretching the tape when you apply it. The die-cut structure rewards careful use with beautiful, intricate detail that holds up well once placed.

Q: How wide is this tape?
A: 15mm, which is about 0.6 inches. It is the standard washi tape width, and the lace cut-outs make a big visual impact at this size.
