Notes from The Fox
Miki Tamura's Vintage Stamp sheet is the sort of thing that makes me want to start a letter right now. Each little stamp is rendered in her torn-paper chigiri-e style with soft edges and warm color, and the foil postmarks add a quiet shimmer without ever feeling flashy.
The Vintage Stamp sheet is a tiny postal museum you can carry in a sticker sheet, featuring old postage stamps, postmark circles, envelopes, and airmail trim. I love how Tamura's work rewards slow looking: the more you study each piece, the more tiny details you notice in the torn edges and the placement of the foil.
Product Details and Specs
Imported from Japan | Studio: Kamiiso / Artist: Miki Tamura
Sheet size: 175 x 90 mm
Material: Japanese washi paper with gold foil accents
Count: 1 sheet of assorted sticker shapes
Finish: Matte washi with pressed foil highlights
Adhesive: Low-tack, repositionable
How to Use
Peel each piece gently from the backing sheet and place it on paper, envelopes, journal spreads, or planner pages. The washi adhesive is low-tack, so you can lift and reposition stickers shortly after placement before they settle. Use the larger illustrations as focal points and let the smaller motifs fill in around your writing. Use these to dress up a pen pal letter, mark a travel memory in your journal, or frame a special moment in your planner. They look especially lovely scattered across kraft envelopes alongside real postage.
FAQ
Are these stickers repositionable? Yes. The washi paper uses a gentle adhesive that lifts cleanly from most paper surfaces if you reposition within a minute or so. The bond strengthens over time.
Will ink and marker show through? The washi paper is slightly translucent, so writing beneath will show through softly. Many journalers use this to their advantage for layered looks.
Is the foil durable? The foil is pressed into the paper and holds up well to normal handling. Avoid direct water contact and heavy rubbing to keep it crisp.
Is this part of the mix-and-match deal? This item is not part of the buy 5 get 1 free deal, which applies only to Suatelier Design stickers and MT washi tape.
